CPR for the Lay Responder Information

This 4 hour course teaches how to perform the following skills on an adult victim (over 12 years of age):
Breathing Emergencies
Care for choking
CPR
This course also teaches you how to recognize the signs and symptoms of a heart attack and how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) for victims of sudden cardic arrest until advanced medical personal arrive and take over.

Infant and Child CPR
This 4-hour course is for anyone who spends time with young children. This course covers what to do when an infant or child stops breathing, is choking, or requires CPR. Injury prevention and emergency action steps are also discussed. Training for separate components is available upon request.
